Hello GPM Community! 

We're excited to kick off our first Community Affiliate spotlight with @PJBrooks927, who fittingly enough was one of the early GPM Community Affiliates back in 2020. PJBrooks is a Content Creator and Streamer, who has long been an avid supporter of the GTA Community, GTA Modding, and GTAPoliceMods!

PJ is an affiliate with both GTAPoliceMods and Twitch, where he streams a wide variety of content, since 2018. You will likely recognize him from his adventures in Sea of Thieves or his escapades in GTA RP. PJ’s gaming journey began back in the 90s, around the age of 3 or 4. Recently, he’s developed a recent fascination with storms , proudly referring to himself as a “storm nerd”. When he’s not gaming, exploring the world of weather, being a Fire/EMS (& formerly 911 Dispatch) in his city, or running around an airport - PJ is also a proud husband & father of two!

What made you interested in the GTA franchise and why?
"I was first interested in the GTA Franchise right after GTA 2 came out. I was quite young, maybe 10 years old. A friend of mine had acquired the game and told me about it, so I went to his house after school to try it out. I was hooked. Shortly thereafter, GTA 3 came out. I found it at a Blockbuster and had my mom rent it. The rest is history. The GTA franchise is still, hands down, my absolute favorite franchise of all time."

What is your favorite part about streaming?
"My favorite part about streaming is interacting with the chat and possibly making someone's day better. Every stream I ask how everyone's day or weekend was and if anything exciting happened. I like to hear about others life experiences and talk about my experiences as well. Its always exciting meeting and chatting with viewers and making friendships out of it. My very close group of friends that I have "The Hazzards", was made from chatting in each others streams."

What brought you into streaming?
"I have been watching YouTube videos of gaming for over 10 years. I wanted to be a YouTuber, but just could never handle all the editing that needed to take place. I then heard of streaming in early 2018. I watched a variety of streamers and started learning. I got very interested in streaming and started putting some plans together but just never had that drive to do it. I was afraid but really wanted to try. After a few weeks of my friends convincing me to start streaming, I finally built up the courage to hit the "Go Live" button on June 20th, 2018. I never looked back!"
