ELS Loses Sync

Question

This is a weird one and if you don't understand what I'm trying to explain, I'll record a video later.

My els lights lose their sync when I go too far away. So say I'm on a foot pursuit. I get back to my car and the lights are flashing all outta wack. Like sometimes a couple light heads won't flash or flash too fast. It's very weird. I've played with the ELS settings but haven't really figured it out...also haven't spent a ton of time figuring it out.

The only fix in game is to spawn a new car. Even turning the lights off and back on, they stay messed up. All 3 stages get messed up.
