Unusable Reactions

Question

Hello,

As a non-management member, I should not be able to give out the "Awful" and "Amazing!" reactions, and this holds true for the most part.

It appears on Image comments that I can add these reaction (notably not on normal posts), however, it does error out if I attempt to apply either of them, so the issue appears to be a visual one.

Thanks,

- Christopher

Hi Christopher,
When we added the new reactions, it automatically allowed all the user groups to use those reactions. Seconds after we added the new reactions, we edited the permissions only to allow certain groups for certain reactions (as stated in the official GPM announcement). I have a feeling that it's a cache issue with the website (or possibly the plugin itself), given that all users technically had access to it for a few seconds. I will clear the website cache first thing tomorrow morning (CST) to see if this fixes the issue. The good news is those who should not be able to use those reactions can not. That being said, I understand the confusion and potential concern with this issue.
Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We will do our best to resolve the issue asap.
Thank you,
Ray
