Best place to post FiveM scripts, if any?

Question

Hello,

I do the code thingys, and I was wondering where the best place to put them was? I know there is a Scripts/Misc section in the downloads area, but I would rather post it as a Forum Topic with a link to GitHub, so even if I forget to update the download, people can always find the latest version of the resource/s. All this assuming you guys are happy for FiveM scripts to be posted in the first place; let me know!

Thanks,

- Christopher

Thanks for responding,

What I'm asking is, is there a place somewhere on the Forum (as in the actual Forum part of the website) I can create a topic for my scripts, instead of creating a new download, which would require updating every time I post a new version, whereas with a forum post, I can just link the Github, which will always have the most up-to-date version of said script.

Thanks again

For security reasons we do not allow mirror download links. However, for your case you can (given that it is for FiveM and not GTA:V mods).

You can create a Work In Progress thread (WIP) in the "GTA:V Works In Progress" section of the forums OR within the "GTA:V Discussion".

We may add a FiveM forum within the next few days/weeks if that is something we feel the community wants.

Let me know if this answers your questions.

Thank you,

Ray

For now, as mentioned in a previous discussion. Just post it up in the right section of the forums. Sadly, our downloads section doesn't allow for outside download links to be used in-lieu of uploading a file to our server.

I won't get into the reasoning behind it, just how it works.

Hello,

Are you trying upload your fivem scripts here or do you just need a place to post/announce them?
