Traffic Stop Generates a Callout 0.0.3

   (0 reviews)

1 Screenshot

When you make traffic stop, a callout will be generated. Accept it as normal. It uses your current location.

What's New in Version 0.0.3   See changelog

Released

0.0.3

I made some changes...

I renamed the files so they make for sense, so pay attention if you installed this plugin previosuly.

put TrafficStopCallout.net.dll in your FivePD>callouts folder
put GenerateTrafficStop.net.dll in your FivePD>plugins folder

TrafficStopCallout.net.dll replaces TrafficStopCAD.net.dll
GenerateTrafficStop.net.dll replaces TrafficStopMenu.net.dll

New Features:
- If you are responding to another callout and make a traffic stop, your callout will be cancelled and you will get a callout for the traffic stop.
- If you are on scene (or in the vicinity of another callout) and make a traffic stop (most likely related to the callout) then you will not get a callout for the traffic stop.

0.0.2

Added support to auto generate the Traffic Stop.

Here is how it works:

1. Pull behind a vehicle

2. Initiate the stop

3. Once the stop is initiated, accept (default Y) - it'll take 10 seconds before you get the callout

4. A call will be generated and added to CAD

5. Carry out your stop

6. Dismiss the car and finish your stop (i.e. citation)

7. Clear your call as normal

Some side notes:

- There is a 120 second delay from when you START one traffic stop and START another. If it takes 10 minutes to finish the stop, there is no delay.

- If you don't accept the callout, you will have to wait 120 seconds for the call to be generated again.

- There 10 second delay between the time you stop a vehicle to when the call is generated... this is to you don't crash into a pole trying to accept the callout (thank me later.)

Installation:

put TrafficStopCallout.net.dll in your FivePD>callouts folder
put GenerateTrafficStop.net.dll in your FivePD>plugins folder

Me.

How to install?

Put the file in your fivepd>callouts folder

How to use?

1. Initiate a traffic stop

2. After the car has pulled over, clock "z" > debug menu > force callout > select "Traffic Stop"

Use at your own risk.

imo I would wait until you've made the callout automated instead of having to load the Debug Menu and force the callout.

When you stop a car during a call (chase/BOLO/etc.), it also generates a call-out. It should only do that when you are not already running a call.

After installing this I hit B for my MDT, and it doesn't pop up . Anyone else have this issue or know how to fix it?

Fixed.

Now, if you've started a call (i.e., already started the chase, arrived on scene etc.) a new call will not be generated. It will check every 2 minutes to see if you've cleared the call yet. As long as you're on a call, you will not get a new callout. If you clear the call and the timer has 1:30 left on it and you try to make another stop, you will not get the traffic stop callout until the time runs out.

If you have the same issue, that is not from this addon.

I like the new addition.  im having a issue when i do a traffic stop im not seeing a call out. then 2 mins late i get a different call out pop up ( silent alarm or similar)  . then simultaneously  the traffic stop call out  call out comes .if i press Y it accepts the Silent Alarm call out instead .  its like the previous call out triggers the traffic stop call out at the same time .

The traffic stop has a couple of timers. You might be hitting a really weird edge case. Can you repeat the issue over and over? If so, see if you can send me a video, or I can join your server and try it.

Guys, it's not a big deal. A tick allows me to check for something over and over. I don't program "delays" into my code because they are trash. So the API throws this error. If it's not causing the plugin to break, ignore it.
