In the GTAPoliceMods community, we value the contributions of developers who dedicate their time and effort to share high-quality mods and resources with fellow members. To recognize these contributions, we have created a special user group known as the Distinguished Developer.
What is a Distinguished Developer?
- A Distinguished Developer is a rare and prestigious title granted to community members who have made significant contributions to our platform. Distinguished Developers are recognized for their consistent, high-quality uploads and their positive engagement with the community.
-
As a Distinguished Developer, you gain access to:
- Direct communication with the GPM Management/Community Team.
- All VIP perks.
- The ability to hide, lock, and apply other actions to your content.
- View who has downloaded your content.
- Your content will be shown to more users.
- Ability to upload mods in bulk.
- Increased chances for your content to be featured on GPM and promoted on our social media pages.
- Ability to block users from downloading your content.
- And much more!
To qualify for the Distinguished Developer group, you must meet & maintain the following criteria:
Texture/Model Developers (Vehicles, 3D Assets, 2D Assets, Liveries, EUPs, YMaps/MLOs):
- Upload at least 15 texture/model related files to the GTAPoliceMods website. These files must be resources, or tools that are useful and relevant to the community.
- Earn a reputation score of 15 or more. Reputation points are awarded based on community interactions, such as receiving positive reactions (likes) on your uploads and contributions to forum discussions.
- No active warning points within 90 days from the last warning.
- Upload at least one file every 60 days to retain the role. We understand that every developer is different and produces varied content (cars, liveries, etc.). If you are at risk of losing your role due to an unforeseen event, please reach out to us via our Support Center, and we can discuss potential exceptions.
Script Developers (Plugins, Frameworks, Code-Based Solutions):
- Upload at least 7 script-related files to the GTAPoliceMods website. These files must be mods, resources, or tools that are useful and relevant to the community.
- Earn a reputation score of 15 or more. Reputation points are awarded based on community interactions, such as receiving positive reactions (likes) on your uploads and contributions to forum discussions.
- No active warning points within 90 days from the last warning.
- Upload at least one file every 90 days to retain the role. We understand that every developer is different and produces varied content (scripts, etc.). If you are at risk of losing your role due to an unforeseen event, please reach out to us via our Support Center, and we can discuss potential exceptions.
Extension via Updates:
If, before the category deadline, you release a significant, clearly documented update to an existing upload, your maintenance requirement will defer for 30 days.
Multi-Category Creators:
If a creator actively contributes in multiple categories, their maintenance requirement will be determined by the category that best represents their primary area of work.
In the event of a tie (e.g., if 50% of their 20 files are textures and 50% are scripts), the longer timeframe will apply.
Once you have met these requirements, you may contact us via our Support Center to request the usergroup change.
Note: The GTAPoliceMods Management Team has the final say on a user’s eligibility. Meeting eligibility criteria does not guarantee acceptance, and case-by-case exceptions may be granted.
