GTAPoliceMods stands behind all developers, big or small. We understand that you put many hours into your content, and the last thing you wish is for someone to infringe on your intellectual property or violate your terms of service.
Here at GTAPoliceMods, we have several safeguards in place in accordance with our guidelines to prevent leaking, protect developer's content, and ensure transparency within within our platform.
- All registered users are encouraged to report leaked content or content that violates our guidelines found within our Download section. Our average report handle time (ARHT) is 30-60min. We guarantee that our Community Team will investigate and take action if a violation has occurred. Note that staff members will receive an email and a notification when a new report is created.
- Ensure that you, as a developer, include your Terms of Service within the "Authors Terms of Service" section when uploading your file(s). To our knowledge, GTAPoliceMods is the only community that enforces our community guidelines and your terms of service. If you know that someone has violated your terms of service, please create a support ticket with as much information as possible.
- All registered users can block any registered user within GTAPoliceMods from downloading their content.
- Although we do not have control over what occurs outside the GTAPoliceMods community, if you wish to inform us regarding a leaking situation so that our staff team is aware and can monitor it, please let us know by creating a support ticket within the "Member Tip" department on our Discord server.
- GTAPoliceMods has an automatic 'self hide' system if a file or content within the community gets reported three times by different individuals. This is a safeguard to ensure that said content will be automatically hidden in the event staff are not online. Please remember per our guidelines, abuse of the report system will not be tolerated.
If you have further questions, concerns, or comments regarding how GTAPoliceMods protects your intellectual property, please reach out to us by creating a support ticket. We want to ensure full transparency and would love to have a conversation with you!
Note: The term "leaking" is in reference to Vehicles, Script, Assets. etc. refers to when an individual or group of individuals take another persons work and redistributes or attempts to call it their own creation, against the wishes and/or without the express permission of the owner.
