Police are speaking out and reminding drivers to be vigilant on the roads after a police cruiser was seriously damaged while trying to stop an offender.
"The member was attempting to make a vehicle stop when their cruiser was sideswiped and then subsequently ran into by another vehicle" said a police spokesperson.
Police remind drivers to slow down, and pay attention to the road.
Nobody was injured in the crash but two drivers have been charged with driving related offences. Police believe speed and mobile device distractions were a factor in the collision.
