Solved

Question

hello folks.
so me and my friend have had our fivepd server set up for a while but we have a reocurring issue of calls spawning at  del perro beach pier and some calls spawn in other places.
not sure if this is just a issue with fivepd itself our server or something else.

Thanks for the help!

thats the thing... were getting these calls whilst out in paleto bay or sandy. we may just need to try reinstalling our fivepd

That won't fix the issue, the coding of FivePD is completely separate from callouts in regards to what you're having to deal with.  Most publicly available callouts will not check your location prior to giving you a callout, and some of them are specifically designed to only be in one location.  In this case it sounds like a string of bad luck getting the same (group of) callout(s) that are only coded to occur at the pier.  The only advice that can be given is either keep in mind what callout you're accepting from previous experience, or going into the code of said callout and modifying it to your liking.

But also only modify callouts that are open source. If they aren't check the developers Terms of Service. If all else fails reach out to the developer and see if they can work with you to figure out a solution

Are you using the default call-outs or community made ones?

It's probably a mix of what callouts you're using and the area you're in.  There are some callouts that are hard coded to only spawn at certain locations while others will simply pick a random suitable location near you.  Try to put yourself away from the pier and see if that helps your issue.
