My suggestion is to add a verified/trusted support role. This wouldn't be staff or anything like that but a role for the staff to give out to people who they notice in the support channel and maybe on the website that know what they are talking about.
It isnt an issue as far as the community support as is but it will give people the ability and ease of mind to listen to those support roles.
Me personally I dont care if people ping/dm me with support question. In fact I encourage it as I have the gpm discord notifications muted except for pings.
Maybe that could be what the role is for, an allowance of people to ping that role specifically
Just throwing a couple of ideas out there, kinda like how the FivePD API discord is set up
