By Daniel K., on 06/11/20 05:52 AM.

Question

Hello so I am new to the Fivem server side of things, I am using zaphosting and their database. Ive attempted to load FivePD and uninstall and reinstall and it doesn't ever seem to work. The FivePD loading screen works but once in game nothing works. Can someone help me please. Im new to all of this

It looks like you put your database information in incorrectly. Looks like whatever you put in for the port is incorrect.

"database": {
    "username": "zapXXX",
    "password": "<Removed>",
    "host": "<Removed>",
    "port": "30416",
    "database": "zap539911-1"

You're going to want to remove that, since it has your database password posted. Don't put quotes around the database port and see if that fixes it.

  "database": {
    "username": "usernamehere",
    "password": "passwordhere",
    "host": "iphere",
    "port": porthere,
    "database": "databasename"

Just don't put quotes around the port and see if that solves the issue.

Most likely means something isn't right with the database set up. I'd do a clean install, delete the FivePD folder, clear/delete the database and reinstall. You can follow this guide for installing FivePD on ZAPHosting

Like I said, if it's still giving errors after removing the quotes from the port and restarting the server, then I would try a fresh install following the guide I linked above.
