  • Slow down peds that are running away

    • Under Review

Either LSPDFR or some of the common plugins for it slows down peds on foot chases. Would be nice to have that in FivePD as well.

    From what I know:

LSPDFR manages this dynamically during pursuits, kind of like a fatigue system. It looks at the ped's resistance chance along with all environment variables (i.e times shot/stunned, health, distance ran, how many police present, nearby pathfinding escape routes etc).
It then adjusts the speed at which the ped can sprint/run for and likelihood of them giving up.

I can easily outrun them if I have stamina, otherwise I can still follow them and call for backup. Also I think it would be unnecessary resource usage to check all those things that @LukeD mentioned, but I'll might implement something for them to give up or do something while the chase is running.
