  • Controller Support for FivePD

    Hello, I've been watching a few FivePD videos, mainly polecats/bayareabugs and it looks like FivePD would be cool to use, however I'm not really fond of keyboard play.
    Controller support would be awesome!

    Suggestion to help make it work:
    I understand FivePD uses a few different menus, and a lot of if not all controller buttons are used on most server, but a controller keybind might be useful, say (Right-DPad + RB) opens the FivePD Menu, and in there would be submenus such as the onduty menu, traffic stop menu, ect.)

    I would really appreciate this, thanks,
    S. Wolffe,

    [A] Button on controller is the only issue on our community server it is the sprint button and Ped Check menu. If i could just rebind the Ped check menu it would be solved. Side note it is disabled in the car thankfully. Loving the resource btw, looking forward to future updates and I personally love the work you have put into this resource.

    I have added this and talked with the original author of this about adding in a function for the a button issue! ?

    I've not implemented the A button into the script so you can now sprint on controller without any menu's interfering ?

    It's not working after update, v1.0.6.1, even though I did add it to the resource and resource.lus

    client_scripts {
        'FivePD_client.net.dll',
      'callouts/*.net.dll',
        'CalloutManager.net.dll',
        'controls.lua'
    }

    any idea?
