Intuitive Menus 0.1.0

3 Screenshots

This project aims to access frequently used menus in a more intuitive way.

Less keybinds or searching through trainer menus.

Just press E at the marked locations or when standing at the trunk of an emergency vehicle.

 

Current features

  • "Locker Rooms"
    • Change your outfit (models) from the police station
      • Opens EUP menu if installed
    • Loadout selector
    • Duty toggle
  • Garages
    • Spawn vehicles (as configured in the FivePD vehicles.json)
    • Change vehicle extras, livery and color
  • Trunk
    • Access the trunk of emergency vehicles
    • Get spike strips, weapons or refill your ammo


Installation instructions

  1. Extract the dll file into the *fivepd\plugins* folder on your server
  2. Restart FivePD

 
Customizations

Although no additional configuration is required you can add/change peds, weapons and locations.

Also a little tip:

The menus are usable with the mouse (same for the default FivePD menus), which makes navigating through them a whole lot quicker.

Mouse wheel for up/down, left click to select, right click to go back/exit

Yes, the plugin is using FivePDs vehicle.json including the permissions you set there

Thanks for this, this will help a lot. Just wondering if it would be possible to also have Station computers, where officers can go to and do reports etc. instead of sitting in the cars.

You have to enable it in the vehicles.json (isSpikeStripAvailable). Check the FivePD Configuration Guide for details.

Would be really nice if the garages could somehow interact with saved vehicles in vMenu. Currently if you get a vehicle from a garage you still have to set up your vehicle each time. Or if not possible to interact with vMenu, maybe something where you could drive a car to a garage and save it there.

Technically it's possible although I'd not use the vMenu cars as not everyone's using vMenu and I like to have no dependencies.

But a "Save Vehicle" features should be easy to implement ... Adding it to the todo list, but no promises if and when it will be implemented.

 

Edit: Just to be clear, this would then also save changes you made with vMenu.

Can you please elaborate a bit, so I know your requirements. Weapons/Vehicles/Peds are already configurable, but do you want to toggle certain base functionalities? Thanks.

Feedback: It works flawlesly, I love how simple it is to use and also it's using any hotkey menus, which is a big plus.

Suggestion: Have the toption to disable the blue blips (having them invisible)

Anyway possible to have the custom cars that we add in the vehicle jsn file to somehow whitelist the cars so certain users cant use them? like for example if there was a dodge charger in the vehicle jsn that i added and that charger was a rank of police office 2 in my server only those ranked officers can drive that and be locked for those who are lower ranked

Is there anyway to move the menus that pop-up in Mission Row/Sandy for the locker rooms and garages, etc.. Maybe like a way to configure the coordinates of where the menu spawns, because I am using a custom Mission Row MLO, and would like to be able to move the garage and locker room menu. Other than that love the script!

You can already move all of it. Check the config files

My garage allows more than one vehicle to be spawned, causing a pile of cars. Is there a way to fix this?

Would there be support in the future for adding a Tactical loadout in the trunk( Adding an EUP Vest and/or Helmet to the Players Character) In the future?
