On July 4th, 2020, Officer Anthony Dia responded to a disturbance at a local hardware store. When Officer Dia attempted to confront the subject, the individual pulled a handgun and opened fire, striking Officer Dia in the chest. Officer Dia returned fire and the subject fled on foot to a nearby wooded area where he committed suicide. Witnesses attempted to provide medical assistance until a responding officer arrived on scene and transported him to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. Officer Dia leaves behind a wife and two sons.

During the incident Officer Dia told dispatch "One eighteen... Tell my family I love them". Rest easy Officer Anthony Dia, your sacrifice will never be forgotten.

Same as everything else I upload, I do not care where you use this as long as credit is given where credit is do. By now this should be self-explanatory.
