FivePD Police Radio 1.2.1

   (0 reviews)

1 Screenshot

FivePD Police Radio

The aim of FivePD Police Radio is to have an all in one menu for a player to be able to call for services and request information quickly.

Installation

1) Agree to the license below!
2) Drag the FivePD_PoliceRadio folder into you FiveM server resources folder.
3) Navigate to the FivePD resource and open the "plugins" folder. Copy the "FivePDEventManager.net.dll" into here.
4) Add "start FivePD_PoliceRadio" to your server.cfg file.
5) Have Fun!

Configuration

Hotkey (used to open / close the radio)
You can find the control codes at: https://docs.fivem.net/docs/game-references/controls/

Volume (The volume of the audio selection sound)
    You must use a float between 0.0 and 1.0 (0% to 100%)

Scale (The overall size of the radio)
Recommended to use a value between 0 and 100, any higher will cause it to be too large for the screen. This must be an integer.

Controls

F1 - Opens/Closes the radio
Enter - Selects option within radio
Arrow Left/Arrow Right - Navigates the options within the radio
Backspace/ESC - Closes the radio

Upcoming Improvements/Features

- Client Side Configuration

- Animations

- Speech Recognition

I am aiming to implement a lot more options within the radio such as:

- Calling Tow Trucks/Prisoner Transport etc.

- Code 4/Code 99 Options

- Setting Duty Status

All of these features are what I'd like to include, however, there are currently API limitations preventing these from being available at the moment. Hopefully we will be able to add these soon.

Version Information

The most recent release was tested on FivePD v1.1

If there are any bugs, Please let me know so I can fix them ASAP.

Huge thanks to the FivePD development team!

Does this require TokoVoIP?

No, this is a standalone resource. The only dependency is FivePD itself.

I am working on a configuration file as you can see in upcoming features. Might be out today or tomorrow with a few extra features too!

This is amazing... Is there a way to possibly make it so that the radio will also cancel the services?
When i run it, it tends to conflict with the stock fivepd menu to cancel a call.

Other than that amazing work man!

At the moment, it only cancels a service when you want to re-call it. It is on my list of things to do, so hopefully this will be added next update with some better GUI!

Would like to see the ability to change keybindings if possible as F1 is typically reserved for servers that run vMenu. vMenu can be changed, however most are used to that keybind for the menu system so the ability to change the key bind for the radio would be a great addition.

Thanks

Great addon the only thing is, is that you can't cancel it when it comes so when they get to the scene they just stay there till it's code 4 minus like tow or some other things but also when pressing F1 the original keybind for the rockstar recording thing is still there and I know you can change the keybind but just saying it would be better for it to be preset somewhere else thanks. Once again great addon!

Awesome plugin, works great! Would it be possible to disable the controller keybind for the ambulance, as it seems accidental. If you press 'A' (X for PS) an ambulance gets called. That seems to be the only controller button interfering with this plugin.

Could you possibly add some pictures?

I might make a showcase video at some point, but screenshots would be pretty much worthless for this plugin. It is represented enough in the existing image in my opinion. It is really just a radio xD

Can you remove "private int hotkey = 288;" it triggers A on controller and calls an ambulance lol

That is not how the hotkey is set. Please read the config file.

Even when the hotkey is changed, A on controller still calls a ambulance, seems like its built into the code.

Everyone that has the issue with key bindings with lamda and vmenu on that F1 you need to go in your vemenu config and change that key bind for it to work
