  • FivePD isn't opening the F11 duty menu or writing to sql DB

    • New Bug

I have followed the tutorial to set up FivePD on a fresh server with a clean download of FPD. I am having no errors at all when the resource start or when I join the server on either the server or client consoles.

I have been getting help from Grandpa Rex and a few others including Natixco on the discord starting here:

We tried pretty much everything we could think of which is all following the message linked above. If anything else is needed I'm more than happy to share my screen or anything etc. I won't touch the files from now so that if there is an issue it can be identified from how it is right now.

From what appears to be happening, FivePD isn't writing to the database when working with mysql and F11 is not opening the duty menu in game. It freezes the game for a few frame as if it is trying to do something but then continues as normal. No errors or logs at all.

This issue has repeated when running with SQLite. This is all on my VPS.

I then tried an install on my local machine and the issue repeated on both sqlite and mysql. As far as the server logs, this is all that shows on both the local and vps servers.

The config.json files are both identical to this:

with my resource folders being as so and being named 'fivepd':

My server.cfg file is also here:

Attempted everything I could think of to remedy the situation.

Verified his database account credentials and attempted to use root to verify.

Verified with a fresh install of FivePD on his VPS and localhost.

The database is making the connection to FivePD but is failing to write him into the users table. There is no error being thrown either that would normally accompany an issue like this.
