It should be more than adequate to play IV and SA on max settings (or close to it depending on mods installed with IV). IMO, the only weak link in that configuration is the video card (550 is already a tad old for a new pc). But the processor is great. Is this meant as a gaming pc? And if you don't mind me asking, what's the ballpark price for this set up?

First to tell you i know it seems like the Nvidia card seems odd to be in this setup but i figured i give it a try i can always upgrade to another card later on. Also it is a gaming PC made by IBUYPOWER and my system cost me before tax around $822 and after tax just about $900. I haven't gotten it yet it has to be made and checked by the experts then it should ship out on March 12th. You can custom built your PC from anywhere from $600-$16,000 and above depending on what Machine you want and who u want to buy from.

Well then, that's not bad at all for the price if that's what you get for it. I'm a bg nVidia fan, so by no means i'm against it (i use two 580's in SLI). I just thought for a new pc, that's a bit old to bundle with. However, with that price that's actually a bargain overall.

Personally if i was to build a gaming pc, besides considering the processor and video card to use, what's more important for me is the motherboard since the choice will dictate the pc's upgrade ability in the future. Having an SLI or Crossfire capability is a great feature to have as a foundation for a gaming pc. For example, stepping up the mobo to a Gigabyte 990X gives Quad SLI/Crossfire capabilirty, same proc.

Update on my PC i called the manufacture and i ask them to change my graphics card from the Nvidia to a AMD Radeon HD 7750 and then i upgraded my power supply to a 700 watt. I think i made the right choice i just hope i don't burn down the house while playing the games i love to play lol
