As of tonight (18/06/12) the Senate has passed laws that mean that Australia will get an R18+ rating for video games, the new laws should come in effect immediately after the Governor General signs off on the bill making it legislation. This means that there will no need to for games to be censored in order to gain a rating within Australia, which, in-turn means that games should should no longer be banned or altered in order to get a MA15+ rating. So we should now be able to get completely uncensored games like maybe umm GTA 5.
