My hardware specs meet and exceed the recommended requirements. My internet is fine, very fast indeed, so that is not a problem, however I and hundreds of thousands of the millions of players for GTA IV have had issues connecting to multiplayer. They either cannot connect in general, or like me, once they do, they get disconnections. The game claiming the computer is running too slow. Yes, I am not getting a good FPS rate - just under - although even more have issues with lag or "satasfactory" FTP rates and can get on it and stay on it fine. It doesn't seem there is a solution for GTA IV.

This isn't a support request which it sounds like. It's more of a discussion - because I am just hoping these issues will be fixed. To be honest, I think Rockstar Games fails epically. The games are not bad, but GTA IV for PC is ever so buggy, causes problems for many and is a crappy console port. It's most likely the fact it is a port which is why many have problems. I've heard people saying there will be no PC version of GTA IV too. But if there is, hopefully some conversion effort will be included.

    Discuss! =D

Rockstar has not officially released an official required specs list. I don't really believe this.

Just because it hasn't been released from rock-star, well known gaming groups such as IGN, could find out the recommended specs just buy testing it.
