Well its almost winter and for many of you the snow is already falling. Winter is a love and hate relationship with me as i enjoy the snow and image that goes with it but i hate holidays. Why do i hate holidays? Because that fall one after another for 3 months strait. October we have Halloween, November we have thanksgiving and finally there is Christmas all in one big *** line. Its a financial strain on people already struggling to pay their bills and do their best to get whatever leftover money they really dont have so they do not look like Hitler on Christmas. These months are the WORST for GPM any gaming communities of any sort, as GTA V is not out yet odds are many others explore other games and our traffic fades out for a while. Then after a few months everyone gets bored and comes back but not after 3 months of low activity for GPM.

The winter creates new financial issues for us as advertising is based on clicks and views. Our traffic has declined 3x due to the season and people being to busy to have time for games and as that is understandable the show must go on. Our financial estimation for the end of this month is HALF what it was last month which wont cover our bills. As we do have reserve funds i try to reserve them for desperate times not just holiday seasons. I appeal to all of you to donate as much as you can this month so that was do not end up walking the line month to month.

    GPM 3.0

We are expecting to go live with GPM 3.0 by the end of this month which will be a progressive transition stage. We already have the basics we are going to accomplish but planning is definitely necessary. GPM 3.0 may have new features and a new look but our biggest change is going to be how development is operated. We are working to get our developers to be more in sync in GTA IV and GTA SA with what you want. We know IV is the big deal and thats what everyone wants but so far the communication within the IV development community has lacked. In GPM 3.0 our good friend PFCBarefoot will be tasked with IV development organization and helping all IV progression communicate. Me and Bxbugs have already spoken of this and we look forward to new stuff for IV and soon to be GTA V.

I dropped the ball on Project: LA

Today we had a mix up in our port system with one of our cloud servers, the wrong port was assigned to our SAMP project server and it cancled out the Angel Pine server. As this was easily fixed it let out our intention to create a new samp server with a completely new script based around los angeles. Our intention was to wait till next week but because of the port issue people saw it before we wanted them too so... surprise Project: LA is actually an old idea that me and mike garber had thought up in the dawn of the SAMP servers for GPM. We wanted to base a LS server on realistic Los Angeles and since i grew up there i can basically guide what is and isent in LA. **** today i even helped vince create bus routes and i actually remembered them from when i used to live there and go to school every day on a MTA Local bus. P:LA as people are calling it is based on the newer coding styles that most servers use (GF Edits) as ours is highly modified most people enjoy the GF edits over what we currently have. At this time there is no plan to shut down APRP. P:LA will operate on the same cloud server but odds are everyone will enjoy the new one when its done. We have entered a new realm of C coding as the new P:LA is based more on new age code vs the old ERP script that is highly out of its time. As P:LA progresses posts will be made but im sure you guys will love it. If you did not like APRP's (ERP) script you might wanna try P:LA as its nowhere near the same.

    2011 Dodge Charger

Thanks to our Deputy Director Mike Garber we have in production a new version of the 2011 dodge charger complete with a new interior. This new charger is about 60% done as start as almost 1 million polys. This has been cut down so far to about 146,000 polys so it can operate in SA and IV. Lead SA Developer Alec Durbin is currently in production of the 2011 charger second edition so look forward to that.

As i said i love winter but i hate holidays and this is the beginning of this long season. We at GPM work hard to provide you with mods and services for your entertainment. Past our advertisements we have no real income and donations have been a bit shallow the last month. We could use some help this month as GPM needs to pay its bills. I hope you all have a good winter regardless of my personal views on the season.

    Good night,

    Scott Daedaelus

I am finding that some of the features are not working on the site, like editing posts and clicking save, to clicking ok to change your new picture.
