Not sure why no one responded... is a simple question with a simple solution...

You must have gta v1.0 and if you want some scripts you would need cleo 4, or some asi reader. You can just google for gta v1.0 downgrade, then you can get cleo 4 ( http://cleo.sannybuilder.com/cleo4/CLEO4_setup.exe ) once you want to add some cleo mods to your game just drag and drop the .cs files into your cleo folder, the text files (FXT) into your CLEO_TEXT, normally they come with a readme.

If your wanting to install car mods i use "SPARK" but you can find some tool to open your GTA3.img located in your models folder. Drag & drop the DFF and or TXD files in and save it.

If things on your map disappear then you would need "Stream Memory Fix".

Most of this stuff is documented in either the Support section or the Knowledge base.

You can open it with TXD Workshop, extract the image, edit with paint or a better program, then replace the image via TXD Workshop with the edited one by using the replace icon.

also, for modding cars, there are many things out there that allow you to edit your GTA3.img which is where almost every model found in SA is kept. you just need to replace the .dff and the .txd in there and the vehicle is modded
