yea! I used to 'investigate' about Epsilon Program in SA, it was really cool :P
Alright so back when GTA: SA was being developed, Rockstar created a fictional website that took place in the game known as Epsilon Religion which was a parody of Scientology. Now there's a full website of this cult that you can read up on. Now how does this tie into GTA:V? Well, this fiction, GTA universe religion, has started making tweets starting from June 25th clear to 20 hours ago. There is also a tweet in which Niko Bellic responds:
"Are you the guys who cause all the homeless people around here to say crazy things?"
You can also hear this group mentioned multiple times via crazed cult members on talk shows.
Not to mention the Epsilon Religion is referenced by Vice City DJ Tina Jane in 1984 in the game GTA: Vice City Stories.
So... this website was originally bought by Take-Two Interactions and Rockstar 8 years ago. It was used for the promotion of GTA: SA, and as well you can find links to GTA:IV. And now all of a sudden there twitter has started making tweets. Two in the last week. Why make fictional tweets for a program that people already know is for promoting games (GTA: SA and :IV) that have already released? To use it for the newest series release. GTA:V. Rockstar stated that updates for V would only be via the Rockstar feed, however this proves otherwise, as did the Max Payne 3 easter egg.
My advice, check the Epsilon Religion website and twitter from time to time and see if you can decode some GTA:V information or tips and hints. And clearly, I'm not the only one who thinks this:
Epsilon Website
Epsilon Twitter
