True, it does seem pretty wierd that he just makes ELS and all these mods dedicated to IV, and then he just leaves without a trace.

He may have made a conscious decision to stay away from the modding scene so he doesn't get sucked back in.

Only a select few of us know where Caine went. He has a very good career going for him. We did get in touch with him a while back, he did say he was going to return for GTA:V and to make ELS7.

Actually, I plan on buying GTAV and making some time to convert ELS to it myself. I couldn't pass up such an opportunity, after all.

Hi, You don't know me because I got here after you left, But I'm the new Network Services director at GPM. Scott has said that PoliceWag and himself have tried getting in contact with you in regards to the source code for ELS. As I have the background in c++ development, Scott asked me to decompile els to try to get it to work with GTA V when it comes out, which is next to impossible to reverse engineer. So I thought I would try my self and try to send you an email myself and see if you could help my situation out. I really don't want to try to reinvent the wheel if I don't have to. I would really appriciate if you could some how scrounge up the code and send it my way so I can get to work on it. I understand your busy with real life events but would really appreciate if you could take time to help me out here. Thanks for your help in advanced.

I was under the impression he was Montreal Police thats why he was such a fan of making their cars.

Yup. I noticed most of his skins were based on Canadian police depts. A few were on LCPD (oh well thats was a boundation)
