GTA IVweird sound problem

hey guys well i replaced 2 cars today and a siren went in game to test them and the start screen soundtrack was all sped up as well as the sirens had static to them. i uninstalled both cars the problem persisted. changed the sirens the problem still persists. even updated my sound card drivers but it still didn't fix it. it worked fine last night.

is there a solution to this?

shouldnt have happened at all...try replacing the siren file

alright i put the original sirens in it works fine now im gonna try one of the new sirens and see what happens
