It has recently come to my attention that there are some strong claims coming from a website called NFScars. Till now I have ignored it but due to some added pressure I have decided to make a formal reply.

This website was created on the platform of giving modders a home that was not oppressed by others who feel they OWN certain styles of cars. For years including the years of GTA 3 modding – Vice City it was a discussing habit to require permission from someone who has either A. converted a car from a 3d model or B. re-created a car model based around a real life one. I grew tired of asking extremely arrogant people permission to create art based around models they had no permission to create to begin with. I will never ask permission to make a car mod from someone who is yet to produce their permission for using the design first. Ford, chevy, dodge and several others spend millions of dollars to create the designs for these cars in programs just like 3d max. The fact is these cars and trademarks are their property which if EXACTLY why GTA did not use real cars to begin with.

To conclude, me or this site does not have any regrets of our projects and due to our freedom of expression hundreds of amazing emergency vehicles have been made and dozens of new creative modders have been born. So to hell with anyone who claims we are thieves they themselves are thieves for trying to deprive people of their own creativity, hard work and art.
