It's actually an HK416, made by Heckler and Koch, it's a piston driven variant of the Colt M4/M16/AR15 weapons, which are direct gas impingement. -

@freakinmusket - That's true, just said M4 without thinking, since that's what it replaces in the Game. @gorgonut2 - Glad you like it, it's a pretty sick mod.
