Hey I remember "back in the day" when IV came out and everyone said it was supposed to be unmodable (if that's a word) and we were all doomed to stay with San Andreas because R* finally wanted to put a stop to people modding their game and they made IV supposedly unmodable, well we know now that is not the case because within a year of release for PC car mods were starting to pour in by the dozens. Now I'd say its the most successfully modded game out there, but what are the chances of being able to mod GTA V? It is 2013 now and technology has come a long way and the release for GTA V could be in 2014 for all we know so that could give R* extra time from console release to PC release to make their game unmodable. What do you guys think?

I apologize if there has already been a discussion about this. I looked but didn't see anything. Merge this if it has.

Throughout all of the GTA games, the police cars have been very generic/bland enough to the point that there are whole communities dedicated to creating realistic looking police cars and lights. The first game that I recall having a half way decent car was Saints Row of all games. It slapped GTA in the face when it came to realism, graphically speaking.

After R* released its initial trailer and photos, again I was disappointed with how crappy the car and lights looked. Now with the recent release of photos and additional trailers, it seems R* has revamped their cars and even put in LED lights. The lighting effects even look good too (in the photos, at least).

So that brings me to the question. Do you think R* has been paying attention? I think so. After 4 previous games of crappy police cars, we're finally getting one that actually seems to look good.
