I installed all the ELS files as it stated ( I'm not new to this I have helped many people with kind of issue before just can't fix my own ) it works fine in SP but in MP only the wail

I'm quite clueless as to how the rules and regulations are setup for GPM, so if this post in all is against the rules, I'm sorry. Anyway, some of the older members may remember me but I'm not holding my breath on it. I decided last night to install GTA IV back on my laptop via Steam and it runs fine, tweaked the graphic settings a bit and the game runs smoothly with nice textures. So with a normal running GTA IV, I thought I should mod it and what better place to go to mod GTA than here. I have no clue what I need to get car mods in the game and how to switch skins from model to model and how to change the sounds (siren, engine, gun shots) and how to use that ASI thing and the trainer and LCPD:FR and the taxi mod so I don't drive in a sea of yellow cabs. Basically I'm a complete noob again and I'd like it if someone could direct me to the proper sites or download pages, to get me started up again. Thanks a ton to whoever is willing to help me. And, when I install any of the taxi bug fixes that I have tried, I get the texture loss, where all the surrounding buildings and environment disappear.

Now, I am led to believe that the only fix at this point may be better hardware.

I have a 1GB GDDR5 GPU. Would upgrading to 2GB GPU fix it? If not, how much GPU memory would fix it?
