Introduction

About 6 months ago I decided to return to
GTA:SA. I had not moded a game since my release of Vice City Deluxe a few years
ago. I really did not want to mod but to just install a good total conversion
mod and play the game. After much research and a few total conversions later I
was disappointed to find there was no real life conversion mod for GTA:SA. I
decided to return to moding because I was not happy with what saw. I soon met
other moders such as BxBugs123 (ELM police car modder), Lt.Caine (zmod Modeler
and programmer), Police121 (3ds Modeler), and many others. I watched as people
like bxbugs were banned from
www.gtaforums.com because people laid claim to cars they had no right to
claim. I decided to make my own site free of the crap.
Www.gtapolicemods.com was born and
from my simple few members boomed to a community of over 550 members and 40
thousand unique visits. I then decided to make a Vice City Deluxe for San
Andreas so that people could finally have what this community has been missing
just a good complete total conversion that is realistic.

Installation

Step 1: Install a fresh copy of GTA:SA 1.0
(WITH NO PRIOR MODS)

Step 2: Select all files in that directory (it
is usually C:\\\\\\\\Program Files\\\\\\\\Rockstar Games\\\\\\\\GTA San Andreas\\\\\\\\ ) and right click on
them. Select properties and uncheck read only. Click ok.

Step 3: Open the SAD_Install.exe and browse
your GTA:SA directory you have the game installed in. It is usually C:\\\\\\\\Program
Files\\\\\\\\Rockstar Games\\\\\\\\GTA San Andreas\\\\\\\\.

Step 4: Install (extract) to that directory
this could take several minutes.

Step 5: Holy crap your done, feel free to check
out the folder called extras in the directory for extra stuff and enhancements.
I did not have them in the mod because some people lag or do not want them. It
takes you 5 minutes to install what you want.

Step 6: Feel free to add back any mods you had
before but please try my mod before you gut it all I ask is that you try.

System Requirements

• 1.6 GHZ Processor or better


• 2 GB DDR 2 Ram


• 4 GB Hard Drive running at least 7200RPM


• Nvidia/ATI Video Card running at least 256
  MB On Bord (not shared).

Known Problems and Possible Solutions

Graphics not Loading: Install the
streaming memory fix included in the extras folder.

Random Crashing to desktop: CLEO can do
this so can SAMP. Sometimes your "streamer" gets over loaded and crashes disable
your frame limiter and slightly lower your draw distance.

Computer Lockups: Background process,
virus protection or your computer can not handle the game.

SAMP crashes: There will be a dedicated
multi-player version of SAD released soon this version is mostly for single
player. It can be used in most SAMP servers but the MP edition will be optimized
for SAMP play we can not guarantee SAMP will work on all servers.

Lag: Your computer cant handle the mod.

  throwing my laptop across the room, for throwing my laptop across the lawn,
  for putting my foot in the wall, for putting my foot through the ceiling and

  mod she has slept on my lap and purred which stopped me from being pushed
  over the edge.

Mod Credits

Your all expecting to see a list of like 700
names of different mods I used. HA, im just going to thank the entire gta moding
community for submitting to me hundreds of mods and making great stuff. These
mods were collected over 6 months and from probably every gaming site on the
net. Also many are conversions from Vice City Deluxe, VC to SA and others were
made exclusive for the mod.
