Stuck on importing Texture/Skin

I was trying to import a template into the ''Vehicles.img'' file using spark, On the forum somewhere it said go to the Vehicle.img & import it to the vehicle you want, I tried on noose/police/police2/fbi & i dont see the template i downloaded inside either of the vehicles, It mentioned somewhere on the site about 'police_sign_1' to replace it in there? Im sorry, hopefully someone can help me with this issue? thanks..

cus you probably 1) didnt hit save and close 2) didn't hit save after or 3) you didnt enable multi livery

Thank you 1000 times, seriously..Because i was completely stucked, I did get the cars to work & show up in game, I noticed on some of the CVPI i downloaded it shows ''police_sign_1''sign_2,sign_3.etc , When i import the texture to one of these, because i wanted to use 2 CVPI textures on 1 vehicle, on the carhood it shows ''an error of the file, or dont past anything in here''..when i browse thru wtd i do notice a texture with that, but its not the one im importing it to, i import it to sign_1 or 2..but it stills shows that, any help? or is the vehicle.wtd only meant for 1 texture? because im trying to fit 2 in 1 car..sorry, im a noob to this..any help would be appreciated

Sorry for not replying sooner, i fixed an issue with the car showing some error, when i mean by error..the car looks fine, its the hood that says something - thats in the wtd file....i was putting it in the wrong police_sign i guess, ty for your help..I looked around on here for here help with the els, did'nt want to start a new thread, i believed you helped out someone in there post with the fix, i have also the same issue, maybe u can help, i tried the way u broke it down, but kind of stuck..i have gta 4 1.0.4, scripthooks/dsound.. & im using ingame trainer..everything works perfect, im using i believe els v3. 1.0.4, it works, the menus etc..on the sites, theres a els.fix.. it says

I opened it els & looked for controls & added those 2 & now it looks like this

I load up game, & press multiply button, but when i see the police the sires are'nt on? is this fix for that problem or? or is that still an issue thats being fixed? the cars not showing lights when getting chased etc...the car lights works when im in the car...alt 0 ..j.k etc.. but it does'nt when they chase me (them in there cars) sorry for the long post...hopefully you can help or someone?..thanks in advance..or is the cars im using? download the new cars? the newer versions?

well for 1..i haven't toyed with els V3 or patch 1.0.4.0 in a LONG while...and 2 im using ELS v6 on 1070
