I'd like to see many more vehicles than wich are in gta iv, many more SUVs, sedans, vans, trucks, pick-ups, ambulances, firetrucks and police cars, etc. for don't get without car to mod. In gta iv I've almost all vehicles modded and there are many more I want to add to the game!

And don't forget realistic handling lines, I'm sick of skidding cars every time that turn in the curves...

Maybe built-in mods aren't interesting for standard players, but a very good mod support and mod tools would be a real requirement. The SAMP like multiplayer would be amazing too, SAMP was the most fun I ever had in a multiplayer game.

Bring back buyable business, are more side missions (like the strongholds from RDR) and make each place feel different, as i have said before, Alderney never felt different from Liberty City, it had LCPD cars, and GTA IV just lacked diversity to me, unlike SA, where Los Santos and Las Venturas were not only different by location(1 in country, 1 in desert) but they had different archecture and thier own police departments.

The possibility of this happening is very slim. Actually impossible because all the file systems and whatnot are WAY different then PC, hence why the console version is only 1 disk, and the PC version is two.

i want to see when you stop at a red light... you brake lights stay on. thats why they honk at you. why not make it a multiple key to reverse.. better traffic rec. so i dont see the same thing 20 times in 30 second. more emergency ped rec. so they move and not hit the **** light pole or jersey wall next to them.

I want to see more realistic police interventions and faster AI, because if they are SWAT, a special team, why do they cross by the middle where you are shooting. For example, if you're in a Burger Shot where you can almost see all the angles would be cool that they assault it from the back of the building, and going crouched under the window so you can't see them. And sometimes police cars blocks you in an espectacular maneuver and the cops just sit there watching you shooting them and pushing their cars until you leave.

And maybe for more realism the police could use from spray and tazer to flash bang grenades.

That is not why they honk at you and ram you. I've been able to sit at a light with my brake lights on and they still ram me and try to drive around.

I'd like to see in GTA V random emergency scenes like a structural fire and the fire department in the scene trying to put off the fire, the paramedics treating/reanimating a person in the street, police chases and detentions, or pulling over another peds cars, tow service truck loading a damaged car in the highway, a police tape around a zone and police investigating a murder...

having random events happening ALL the time. never exactly the same. IE an actual car crash that doesnt involve you and where emergency services will respond to that event in a proper manner without crashing into something else, killing the car crash victims and/or ramming your car! that ****** me off. if there is the same kind of event, have it happen somewhere else on the map, different cars in the crash, different people and fatalities, etc. I know it Grand Theft Auto, but they should bring a sense of realistic life into it while keeping all the criminal stuff too since thats the whole point of the game. Small things in the background would help a lot, like random drug deals, muggings, shootings, etc. its LA for gods sake!! Within each season, allow/disallow certain weather to occur, such as not allowing it to snow in the summer. This idea would allow for quite a large variety of weather to occur, and for it to snow.

I figured you knew some slang. My bad.

Rockstar isn't exactly known for making high poly models, are they? Besides, don't you think that it would be cool to be able to enter in all those buildings? If they really need to conserve space AND decide to put this in, they could at least re-use the interiors to cut down on space. Either that or we could all run around outside trying to figure out what to do with ourselves.

I haven't been able to play IV for a while now, it quit working for me. I was only able to play for about an hour, and that was in July of 2011.

Uh, I live in PA, thank you. It's bad enough down here. Besides, what makes you think that moving to a different Country would affect the weather in-game. The script could be as simple as "after (X) ammount of day have passed, the weather swaps from hot and dry (possibly summer) to colder and windier. Then after (X) amount of days passes again, it swaps again from colder and windier (fall) to cold and snowy. The pattern would then continue and repeat. The snow could just be really slow rain drops that are textured white, and I'm sure that everything wouldn't have to cover with snow.

Well, do you have any other new optimizations in mind? True that some people will have very slow games, but a majority of those people don't have a clue on anything about there computer, and these are actually quite small adjustments when you add in the information that I added in above.

@Axxif, it I like your idea of the weather, expanding it a bit, would be nice if there is a huge storm the sea conditions goes worse, and the waves increase. A mission where the coast guard and police pursuits you in a rough sea while they look for you with proyectors would be cool. And bringing back the hot weather efect, improved of course.



@Handle, many of the GTA IV buildings where are mission after finishing them can't be accessed unless you use trainers* -*I think, not sure- and cheats, but it still keeps the interior props, and still ocupe space in your disk, so, why don't make them accesible?

EQ2B sirens for fire truck and ambulance...police vehicles, fire trucks (not only engine, i'd like to see here ladder, tiller truck, maybe USAR), and ambulance would have own horns file. Idk how you would have a game in a beach town like L.A. without music like Pitbull, Lol. but whatever. I hope they make the city more expansious and more akin to real Los Angeles than the original Los Santos was. I hated that it literally took seconds for me to chase someone from one edge of LS to the opposite edge of LS, it was way too small and unrealistic. I'd like to see a better racing system, personally, and even if they use the same ****** system as IV, I'm still gonna have a ton of fun racing the freeways ;).

It just gives a more pleasant experience for the game. But im liking the fact that its based off of SA and vehicle parts can move. It was disappointing to see GTA IV with a nonworking forklift(Arms dont move up and down). As well as the cement trucks(Barrel doesnt turn). There werent even any planes in GTA IV that you could fly.

How about having a little part of the map based in Mexico? It could be part desert, other part city separated with a wall, and a highway with a toll, and sea. If you are wanted in the US side and you cross the border and stay there some time, you will lose the wanted level, but the Border Patrol* will try to stop you, and if you cross from Mexico to the US without crossing by the toll, you will have wanted level and the Border Patrol will try to catch you. So the legal way to cross, without getting wanted level, would be crossing the toll paying. The toll would be something like the San Diego border. In the Mexico part could be a part of a city like Tijuana, another part desert and in the desert a small village.
It would be awesome for missions also.

what i really see is people forgetting that an "GTA" is a crime(it's code for a stolen vehicle).
so we can forget them putting police jobs in the game other than playing vigilante, wich according to the law is technicaly also a crime(that's why police will be shooting you).
i think the best they can do in making police functions and uniforms is offering the vigilante or PD computer, and making a PD uniform available just like the scrub in GTA IV.

i do hope that they will make a better AI for drivers and PD.

Well the way I look at it, there's the people who steal the cars, and the one's who go after them. The game series is based around the first of the two, and through GPM you can also play as the latter. Personally, I think the series is a great Cops and Robbers type of simulator, mainly because of the ability to walk/run/jump/not be forced in a vehicle all the time (Cough, cough, NFS, cough, cough). I just feel that the other parts of the First Responders community should be represented a little bit better. Besides, there are multiple different uses for more Fire/EMS vehicles, such as using them as an essential vehicle for a mission (End of the Line in SA), or having them patrol/cover a certain area (Airport FD covering any/all airport[s]). It would also make the game feel more realistic, as you wouldn't just be getting the same old Fire Engine regardless of where you are in-game/on the map (Engine 69 throughout Liberty City in IV)

Dont you think speeding tickets would slow the game? I mean in GTA you have 2 choices:
-Driving like maniac
-Driving like normal person
If you get stoped in middle of the mission it could get stupid.
I would like more side jobs: Taxi missions, Bus(Like in VC that was a good way of earning 5$ per passanger), trucking missions, perhaps towtruck missions, and much better vigilante missions, rob the stores, houses, test drives like in LCS... These are some of features that would make this game great. Combine some elements from older games in series.
Oh yea, MUSIC. It would be nice to have popular music, like in VC, there were a lots of hits from the time the game took place at.

All I want from GTA: V is native scripting and mod support, I don't even care if they release a mod kit or not, the community has always been able to create a plethera of tools (most of which I would think will work on GTA:V with little to no modification) quite quickly. Just the ability to create mods without having to hack the game and bypass safeguards preventing it. Knowing R* and the fact that the PC version WILL be a console port I am not getting my hopes up.

I actually still don't quite understand why they don't at least make it easier for us to mod out the client. The modding community has always been here with the GTA series. Just like life finds a way, modders always find a way to crack open and tinker with games.

I think the GTA is not a full RPG game... It's not about that we are simulated my second life because this essence is a criminal life. However the job and family and then a endless game is a good idea. :)

1. Wilderness that features wildlife, and desert that doesn't look the same. For example imagine being with a group of 5 friends, and suddenly a Bear appears out of nowhere..or a pack of wolves. 5 guys vs a pack of wolves.
2. AI that knows how to drive. If i step into traffic I want the AI to at least be smart enough to attempt to avoid hitting me by swerving or actually slamming on the brakes, not just slowing down.
3. Mini-games, and other activities like plane challenges, Racing challenges, basically everything that GTA: San Andreas had except expanded. Make challenges more dynamic also. For example if you're racing, change the routes every race so it's not the same direction every single time.
4. A story that expands on GTA IV system of decision making. I want to be able to decide if that person I'm sent to kill lives instead and that decision later comes back to affect me later down the road.
5. 32/64 multiplayer. More people = more chaos/fun.
6. Scenery, scenery, scenery. ENB opened the door to what GTA could be like with good settings, and decent landscape. Add this to GTA V, to where I can go from a gritty urban environment to the slow rural area of the Country.

Something I want GONE, is when you go through the intersection on a red light, green light, as a civilian, as a cop..even with Code 3, you get honked at. I can't help but rage and screech my tires when somebody honks at me, and shoot their car until it blows up.

Have you never noticed how cars in GTA:SA will NEVER stop honking their horns unless you're PERFECTLY lined up with all the other cars?

Having a real criminal free play, not only shooting cops. Take a gun, enter a liquor store and rob it, sometimes the dependent can take his old shotgun and put on your face, so you have to leave the store or die...

I can imagine something that rockstar would do... Asian store owners... "YOU GET OUT MY STORE! YOU NEVER COME BACK!"

I wouldn't mind more emergency vehicles and characters, but I don't want to go the realism route. GTA has never been about realism; but parody. They could surely spoof emergency vehicles today, and their looks and call them something like "Fierce (Pierce)", "Gladiator (Spartan)" etc.

Yup, it's stated on that website. It says the PC version will come out that day. Fortunately for modding, we will have the story mode to play with while the developers figure out how to create mods for the new game.

Hopefully GTA V will be more PC FRIENDLY. GTA IV seemed to lack that generosity. It most likely will from the expected system requirements. Can't wait! :P

I think it should all be coming out at the same time. At least, if I were a developer of some sort of game, that's what I would do. Jack up the prices to about $90 for every console, including the PC, and make a profit. Plus everybody would be happy. This is how we do it in America.

I know that this post is from 2011 but i have to say: This game is named: Grand..."Theft"... Auto. If you don't know what "Theft" means it means that it's a criminal and such things to steal cars, kill people so i wont belive that they wont put that everyone said that they want in the game. But realistic Handling it's getting pretty more real since the first GTA so it will have a more realistic handling

I would love to see Rockstar add in a game within a game. In other words, have them do a Police Mod just like this community, but have it come from the maker. They could really take it to the next level too, letting you play a Police officer. I am looking forward to GTA V and it should be out in a few months, but I know it will probably be a long time until someone can do a Police Mod like LCPDFR.

Now, other things I would like to see. I liked the idea of San Andreas where you can go to the gym and work out and you gain muscle mass over time. Say after 20 workouts you gain a bigger physique, After 50 workouts you look ripped etc.

Now for the evil side of me, I would like to see Gibs maybe. Say you shoot someone in the head, part of their head is torn off and blood goes everywhere. Say you shoot someone in the gut, they bleed out over 25 seconds without medical help, leaving blood puddles on the ground and finally dieing. Think For the Gibs part maybe old school Soldier of Fortune. That would be nice ;)
