That one belongs to the East Midlands Ambulance Service, but the West Midlands Ambulance Service also runs very similar cars (same lightbar but a slightly earlier model of XC70).

I have to say I like the Halogen Alley and Takedowns better. Gives it a nice and original effect. If they were LED they would just look like white LED's from a distance. And to me it seems that they would do a better job at providing light (I may be wrong though).

And my favorite "car" is a Pierce Velocity, which can be in any configuration: engine, straight ladder, platform ladder, rescue, tiller ladder, etc. Plus A Pierce costs as much as 20+ of those little cars, and has more lights than any police car!

I'm from Brazil, Rontan is a Brazilian company that manufactures lightbars and prepares the cars for polices.

The Rontan went to Florida with the lightbars, have Crown Victoria with winglux-S, look on You Tube.

IMO I hate it when people try to make their custom Edge's with small LEDs. I would take an edge with the black center and two amber Halogens on the rear of the bar, across from the Takedowns. the rest it plain strobe.

Well if i went with the strobe i'd put it on a 91-95 caprice or 85-90 LTD CVPI. If i'd go with a LED i'd choose a 1999-2003 CVPI or 2007 Charger.

Good ol' Plymouth Belvedere with the dual can lights for me. Police cruisers have gotten too fancy with the lighting and looks as of the last decade or two, in my opinion. Half the time, the crazy LED lights/patterns end up serving more of a distraction to other drivers rather than alerting them. You don't need a Fourth of July light show just to signal a driver to stop. I used the most basic pattern on my cruiser and people pulled over just fine.

I really like the new Federal Signal Vision SLR after seeing them on an actual car and not just on you tube- saw it on a 2012 NYPD ford Fusion, don't like the message board though, his back-up car just had the directional bar looked much better and the end lights are only blue when they get to the rear of the car and red when they rotate to the front was cool to see , on a side note hate that Rumbler siren

gotta admit driving cars with them since '92 the visions grew on me looked odd at first but i loved the different options we had on the smart siren keypad(used to play with patterns all the time lol)

I agree 100% with that. Best patrol car: NYPD CVPI, Vision SLR, Rumbler, and other than that, a normal NYPD light setup.

(Plus, it's not a bump really, it's just posting on an old (yet still valid) thread.)
