So, seeing as all my other projects have failed at life because either: A) Lost Interest, or B) Haven't been able to get the other 85% of the mod from someone else, I have officially started a Strathmore Rural Fire Department pack.
Before I show you anything, I am going to advise you on what the SRFD is.
SRFD stands for Strathmore Rural Fire Department.
What do we do?
We work in the rural area's around Strathmore, Alberta. So basically while Strathmore has it's own town department, we respond to the majority of the MVC's (Motor Vehicle Collisions) outside of Strathmore.
How often do we work?
24/7, our scanners/radio's will go off at any given time, whenever there is a MVC, Prairie Fire, Fallen Citizen, or anything that requires Fire Department in the rural area's of Strathmore.
Do you get paid?
No. Strathmore Rural Fire Department is a volunteer fire department, and most of the members are also Calgary Firefighters, and thats where they get paid.
Why this department?
Because, I am a Volunteer Firefighter with the department currently, and see the apparatus very often so I figured, ****, why not?
Now, I have the Crown Vic ready to rock, spent about 20-30 minutes on it, but unfortunately I will not be able to get a picture of the car until Monday, as my laptop is unable to play GTA IV, and my desktop took itself a nifty little dump on me the other day so I can't do anything until I get paid so I can get Windows 7 to install on it. It's a good thing I have all my files on an external hard drive though.
This pack WILL be released within the week. It will consist of:
-Firefighters
-District Chief CV
-Tender 1
-Wheatland and District EMS ambulance & (hopefully) Paramedics
-Rescue Truck
-Incident Response Unit (Has pylons, traffic signs, and a LED Traffic Advisor (the thing that construction companies use where they put a message on it... But of course it's only going to be a skin for the Tahoe or something, until I get into modeling)
-If you guys want to suggest an idea for the mod then feel free to share!
EDIT: Heres some general progress on the District Chief CV, it looks done, but believe me, it's far from it...
