im not all new to modding but this is diffulcult.. i want to add police cars (of course).lol and ELS for the cars and the police pursuit mod from policemod.com.. can somone explain in detail on how to do all of this and yea also i know i need sparkIV for it.?? please help, like were do i get the ELS download so cars with ELS will work and like for the police pursuit mod it says the latest patch for GTA4

And i also read about some Scripthook program?? do I need that or What please help!!! thanks

ahem....have you tried downloads, GPM sponsored mods..luxart, luxart script mods? as for car install

In that video he said EFLC what is that..and the luxart mod has only els mod. what is scripthook and do i need it?? and where do i get the latest patches for GTA4 which police pursuit mod says you need???

ELS has the scripthook....EFLC is another game of the GTA IV series...patches...GOOGLE works wonders

Ok i went to luxmart mod scripts and the ELS mod say the status is discountinued so i cant download it..and if i download ELS i will be able to download Police Pursuit mod for policemod.com?? cause it has script hook

discontinued means he is no longer working on it....why dont you SCROLL ALL THE WAY DOWN and click download?

Ok since its a RAR file after i open it where do i extract it to and copy and paste it so it will work????

it would be found most likely, in your C drive... C:\programfiles\rockstargames\gta4 or C:\programfiles\gta4 ... something along those lines...



And I also had a question, my SparkIV says it cant find GTA4.exe, im using Win7 and Steam.... can i not mod w/ steam??

its actually C:\program Files OR C:\program files (x86) then Rockstar Games\Grand Theft Auto IV

or Steam\steamapps\common\gtaiv



as for your issue, try extracting all the sparkiv files to your Steam GTA folder

okay, its giving me an error message that reads: "Exception EFOpenError in module OpenIV.exe at 0002643B.

Cannot open file "C:\program files(x86)\steam\steamapps\common\grandtheftautoiv \GTAIV.exe" The system cannot find the file specified."



^^^ Thats with OpenIV.exe





with SparkIV it says "Your GTAIV.exe seems to be modified or is a newer version thhan this tool supports. If it is a newer version, please check for an update of SparkIV. SparkIV can not run without a supported GTAIV.exe file"







And yes i put it in my steam GTA folder...

what version of Spark are you using? If its 0.6.5 it won't work as steam auto updates to 1070 you will need 0.6.6 for spark as for open IV...never used

0.6.6 works just fine for 1070 0.6.7 i believe is more made for eflc 1110
